“Communication is everything” or so they say. As a stylist, one of the most important aspects of building a relationship with you, is to communicate effectively, and help to guide us in a direction that will best suit you.

Consultations are key to maintaining both your hair’s health and what to expect with your salon visits. Below are examples of questions during our consultation that help to complement your features (and lifestyle) in the best way.

Is there anything bothering you with your hair today?

Everyones answer will be different, however, answering this helps in many ways when trying to find a solution.

Could your issue be caused by over-processing? Are you not seeing enough depth so that your highlights get lost? Is your hair feeling too light/too dark? Does your at home care help or hurt your situation?

Our hair is often a “security blanket”, in a sense. It helps us feel more confident, and in some ways more beautiful. My goal is to help create even more good hair days. There’s nothing better than a good hair day!

Your eye color is one of my most favorite things to look for in the consultation. The color within the eye can help to guide my color formulations in a more predictable way.
