For over fifteen years, the beauty industry has given me a space to create, connect, and continually evolve. Hairstyling opened the door to a broader creative practice in art, storytelling, and connection.

Through years of working closely with people, creating with my hands, and moving through different seasons of life, I began to understand that creativity was never limited to beauty alone. It became a way of expressing, exploring, teaching, and connecting.

Whether I’m creating bridal hair, painting, teaching students, or working through other artistic projects, I’m drawn to the ways creative expression helps people feel seen, inspired, and connected. Beauty has always been more than appearance to me. It has been the beginning of a much broader creative journey — one that continues to evolve through art, craftsmanship, intuition, and emotion.

My work lives somewhere between beauty, artistry, craftsmanship, and storytelling

Hi friends! I’m happy to be back home, and excited to share my next adventure with you! You can find me Tuesday & Thursdays behind the chair at Rebel Salon, 124 Washington Street (Route 53) Norwell. I’m sure with all the extenuating circumstances these past few months, you’re just as excited as me to now be able to treat yourself to some hair love! I will of course, be taking precautions mandated by the governor in order to do my part in keeping those around me healthy. The #mastercolorexpert final module was all about what inspires us. I loved having the time to research and reflect to come up with a concept for a collection that came from what inspires me. Those who know me best, know how much I love to paint. My time behind the canvas is a moment to completely free my mind from any worry. I chose one of my paintings to submit as it showed what has always been imprinted in my mind. A special place sitting on the coast with a whimsical sky and a certain kind of calm in the depths of the sea. This painting comes from my soul, and kept my mind sane in the final stretch of the MCE program. Even though I’m not behind the chair at the moment, I’m so proud to have completed this program and looking forward to what’s to come. I’ve grown in so many ways in the past few years...and have many to thank for their help along the way. So thank you to the @voodoohairlounge team, #Wella educators, @carolinewcurtis, and my family back East, for pushing me outside my comfort zone and the encouragement along the way. 💕✨🥳
